The week-long theatrical run starts December 9th.

The 12 episode series played as a direct sequel "Second Season" to Tsuburaya`s classic ULTRA Q (????Q, Urutora Kyuu, 1966), and featured a trio of new characters -- psychologist Jin Haibara (Seiichi Tanabe), journalist Emiko Watarase (Rin Takanashi) and bartender Shohei Shiroyama (Hiroyuki Onoe) -- investigating bizarre, supernatural and alien phenomena that often involved monsters and space creatures. The popularity of NEO ULTRA Q inspired Tsuburaya Pro to bring the series to theaters. From November 2013 to February 2014, a new NEO ULTRA Q SPECIAL SCREENING will be released each month through at Toho Cinemas across Japan. Each SPECIAL SCREENING includes three episodes of NEO ULTRA Q, episodes of the new anime short series PROFESSOR YASHIMA`S ROOM (???????, Yashima Kyooju no Heya), and one episode of COLOR ULTRA Q (colorized and HD remastered from the original black & white ULTRA Q series). The 9th day of each month through February are being promoted as "Q Day", featuring Q&A talk shows with special guests in the main hall of Toho Cinemas Nichigeki. Guests speakers for the December 9th screening will be NEO ULTRA Q episode directors Gakuryu Ishii and Yu Nakai, plus actor Jun Murakami (from the episode PANDORA`S CAVE). Also making an appearance will be the Undersea Humanoid Ragon, whose colorized ULTRA Q episode will be shown during NEO ULTRA Q SPECIAL SCREENING Part 2.
