In March, Bandai will release the Gabutto ("Gulp") Burning Godzilla as part of their toy line based on the classic game ITAI WANI (イタイワニー). Also known as "Crocodile Doctor/Crocodile Dentist", the original ITAI WANI involved players trying to find and remove the bad tooth from the mouth of a plastic crocodile without being 'bitten'.  The newer version has players push down on the creature's teeth until the toy's mouth chomps down on an unlucky finger, replicating the excitement of the original game play in a compact toy that is easy to hold and carry. Godzilla has already been included in the Gabutto series, but the new release will be the "Burning Godzilla" incarnation from GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH (ゴジラＶＳデストロイア, Gojira VS

Source: Bandai In February, Bandai is launching a new soft vinyl figure line, "JAPAN GODZILLA," which will feature designs and coloring with a uniquely Japanese "wa" motif. Wa (和) is a concept that roughly translates to "peace" or "harmony" and is considered essential to Japanese culture. Intended to be both inexpensive collectibles and Japanese souvenirs, the JAPAN GODZILLA figures will be produced at a slightly smaller scale (average height 4.5 inches) than those from Bandai's main Movie Monster Series (average height 6.3 inches).
