New Toho Godzilla Series after Legendary

An awesome script is what Toho needs most, I think. Not many people can match Gareth's visual flair, but they need to top Borenstein in terms of characterization and plot. And I doubt Toho will shy away from giving Godzilla screen time (although I didn't care about that with G2014). If they can give the audience those things, they'll have a very viable project on their hands.

When it says filming is to begin "next Summer through Fall" does that mean Summer/Fall of 2015... or of 2016. Either way, that's not that long. I don't believe that's much longer than GFW's allotted schedule, IIRC.

If it is this coming Summer/Fall - of 2015 - I expect the movie will hit cinemas in early 2016, possibly even January.

I'm on the fence.

I think Toho will throw the bare minimum at this movie to hope to turn a small profit. Taking Godzilla out of their hands was the best part of Legendary's Godzilla.

meh. gona just enjoy the pandemonium this causes for now. I'd like them to actually try and pull of top notch practical effects and not just rush the same "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" from the millennium series.

Oh and they better use Man in suit cause they are still behind in the CG world.

The (presumably) new suit design.

I want to see something less radical than G2K or G14, but not quite as traditional as Showa or Heisei G. It also depends on what this new story involves. In my personal opinion, I'd like to see a return to the roots of Godzilla and have something with a little more substance and umph to it.
