An awesome script is what Toho needs most, I think. Not many people can match Gareth's visual flair, but they need to top Borenstein in terms of characterization and plot. And I doubt Toho will shy away from giving Godzilla screen time (although I didn't care about that with G2014). If they can give the audience those things, they'll have a very viable project on their hands.
