NECA seems to have a domestic advantage at this point. Besides the prompt release date in junction with America’s schedule, their figures are perfect for people, who want a decently sculpted, super-articulated figure for an affordable price. The product and MSRP has potential to draw pre-existing and new fans alike. On the other hand, people who can afford S.H. MonsterArts figures might purchase SHMA’s version only, or both (SHMA and NECA together). I have no idea how much market control both companies will actually have this summer, but we essentially are the winners. We get to select some potentially great products from USA and/or Japan.
