The cgi for the 1954 flashback(with Godzilla rising out of the water before the bomb goess off) looks a lot better now.
"Godzilla is a tragic love story about two romantic leads who went against all odds to find each other, only to be murdered by an obese serial killer with bad breath."

Notice how the vegas shots from weeks back did not have the Muto in that exact spot and now it does...Very sneaky marketing..I like it!!! 8)

Let's take bets:

The femuto carves a path of destruction from Vegas all the way to San Francisco...Remember that scene where we see a small destroyed town and train on a beach with the black smoke billowing upwards?? I am betting that's her doing as well..

I'd say that's a fairly safe bet...

that's fine. Safe bets are totally fine. I'm gonna go out on a limb though just a tad:
The halo jump sequence is a way to attempt to attract MUTO to Godzilla. MUTO, being that it glows bright red, is attracted to that red glow, and the flares are a way to attempt to force the two to fight.

It's only in that NEWEST Japanese trailer...not in the older ones. Must be a recently completed piece of CG.

It cuts away SO FAST, it's impossible to tell if it's "not moving" I would appear to be unmoving too if you showed me for half a second.

Maybe...

It's "dead" from a barrage of missile attacks and it just sort of curls up in a defensive position, then sheds it's outer shell and pop's out an even bigger femuto.

It would be kind of a tiny twist for the monster.

Not sure why so many seem to be concerned about seeing the film at a "real" IMAX, as "real IMAX" screens have a 1.43:1 aspect ratio and GODZILLA is shot in 2.40:1. Godzilla will be letterboxed in "real" IMAX theaters, since none of the film was shot 1.43:1. It would look much the way letterboxed 2.40:1 films used to look on old 4:3 television sets.

Many digital theaters have switched over the 4K digital projectors anyway, which actually outperform even 70mm 15 perf IMAX. Personally, I would check which local theater has 4K projectors and then choose the auditorium that has the largest 2.40:1 screen (some theaters mask down to 2.40:1 from 1.85:1 - bad - while others open up to 2.40:1 - good). The other thing to look for is Dolby Atmos sound, as the film is being mixed for Atmos and that is a rather dramatic improvement over standard 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

My personal preference would be to see the film in 2D at a Dolby Atmos theater with the largest 2.40:1 screen possible. Fortunately there are a couple up in Denver. I do think I will be stuck with 3D, though. :(
