I got sick of waiting for IMax so I decided to jump a state and go to a "Cinema De Lux" theater that has Xplus 4k projection and Dolby Atmos Surround Sound.

I'm taking the day off from work.

Anyone knows where I can find a transcription of the WonderCon Panel? If not the full conversation, the best moments.

Thanks!

Ya know Godzilla can actually just step on the muto if he wants. I cannot stress how big Godzilla is compared to this thing it's over overwhelming!

I must admit, nothing can be worse than the GFW soundtrack. (Okay maybe not nothing, but damn, that soundtrack is gross.)

Ordered my IMAX tickets on Friday, all 19 of them.

And I cannot stop thinking about how awesome that WonderCon footage was. It's just replaying in my head over and over. Can't wait to see it in its full glory.

As far as soundtracks go, I like what I heard in the footage and as bad as FW can get (there are tracks I like and Godzilla's theme is pretty cool) my "worst" soundtrack is Raids Again. It's not that it's bad, but mostly pretty forgettable which is a worse sin than just being bad in my book.

The realism things is also complete BS. I guess I miss those humdrum day to day stories about ninjas in batsuits fighting clowns with glasgow smiles who crwate deranged district attorneys by blowing up half their face, an ordeal which they not only survive but evidently makes them stronger. And when those same bat-dressed men fall off buildings to save their love, and then go to another country and extradite outlaws using a plane with a big hook on the front, and turn every phone in their gotham-esque cities into sonar pinging devices, and drive around in tanks that turn in motorcycles...

And those are some of the more realistic things that happen throughout that series when compared to microwave emitters and magical nuclear bombs...

EDIT: when Nolan says realistic, he means "how would the real world react to these fantastical situations? What if I plopped this insanity into our normal world? Edwards means the same thing...realistic Godzilla collapses under the weight of his own body and the movie's over in 3 minutes.

Trailer was just shown on fox. The cgi has been cleaned up tremendously. Looks great.

If this movie is half as good as TDK, then it will have been a success.

If it's half as good as TDKR, then it's disastrously bad.

The GFW soundtrack remains sealed in the Godzilla box 6 to never be opened in this household.

The music is just atrocious. From the previously mentioned porno sound to the 8 bit Nintendo styled music, and what sounds like rejects from Vince DeCola's Rocky IV score, I have no clue they where thinking.
