That could work. I mean, Avengers is ESSENTIALLY Cap, Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk...so, yeah...a four-person JLA team could definitely work.

I'm pretty nervous that they announced Man of Steel 2 and JLA at the same time... I feel like they are just gonna do MoS 2 and jump straight into JLA. The cycle should be as follows:

MoS 2
Wonder Woman
The Flash
World's Finest (Batman and Superman; THIS is where we introduce the new Batman)
Justice League.

STOP RUSHING THINGS, IDIOTS.

Bleeding Cool:

When it comes to shared-universe comic book movies – which are, like, so in right now – Warner Bros. are definitely playing catch up. But they do seem to be moving with competitive speed.

Probably the wisest decision they could have made (in terms of avoiding geek rage ala the casting of Ben Affleck). Instead of getting someone else to play Hal Jordan, they just get another actor to play John Stewart. Makes sense. Still I guess in the 21st century, we will never get the "Iconic" JL big SEVEN I remember (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Flash (Barry Allen), & Aquaman). Always have to change the characters to be younger, more gender or racially balanced to be PC...

Dont get me wrong. I loved the DCAU even substituing Jon Stewart, Wally West, & Hawkgirl. And the New 52 JL with Cyborg isn't bad either. Also I am aware that the lineup I mentioned is not the "first" incarnation of the JL, but it is the most iconic, and I'd just like to see it once if not in film, then in animation. I guess thats why I liked Avengers: EMH so much. They actually started with the true core group, then expanded from there. Before Jeph Loeb came along and ruined everything :x .
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Since that "scoop" is coming from Nuke The Fridge, there's a 99.9% chance that its total dog sh*t.

Hopefully this means a lot of these castings decisions of various characters who couldn't possibly be developed in a film are just cameos.

Okay, I zoned out a bit on that. I heard "Shazam" and "Metal Men," and I'm going to assume nothing else mattered, right?

Seriously, if they actually make Metal Men and Shazam movies I'll be ecstatic. Add Plastic Man and some '70s Kirby property (Kamandi, OMAC, the Fourth World characters) and I'd assume they were just targeting their movies to me.
