Oh Man Highschool... that's going way back (and getting a bit OT)
I remember the only Bradbury story we read was in one of our textbook sas a short story "The Foghorn". Of course I was the only kid in my class that knew about the film Beast from 20,000 fathoms. I begged the teacher to let me bring it in to show for class but she didn't let me.
Anyway, other stuff I remember- Hamlet, Beowulf, The Epic of Gilgamesh, 1776 (the play), Moby Dick, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (although that might have been 8th grade...)
No Great Gatsby for me either, but I certainly knew what it was. Teachers seemed to randomly choose different literary works each year, also it depended on which teacher you got. I dont know how i got through Highschool without Romeo & Juliet either, but somehow I did
I have no interest in the film. But then again I don't like anything Leo DiCaprio is in. But if others enjoyed it, I'm glad for them.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
