There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

I know its your mission in life to torment Dr Cain, but not every school does Gatsby. Mine didn't, so I've never read it either. I just know I thought "Australia" was dreck so i'm not terribly excited for anything with the Baz name at this point

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

JOHN DIES AT THE END
of which the first 3/4 is the best film ever made. The end was kinda too easy and meh.

CABIN IN THE WOODS
It was okay. Very Joss Whedon, which is fine... I love his writing usually. But it was so Joss Whedon it was kind of hard to ignore the fact while watching it.

Oh Man Highschool... that's going way back (and getting a bit OT)

I remember the only Bradbury story we read was in one of our textbook sas a short story "The Foghorn". Of course I was the only kid in my class that knew about the film Beast from 20,000 fathoms. I begged the teacher to let me bring it in to show for class but she didn't let me.

Anyway, other stuff I remember- Hamlet, Beowulf, The Epic of Gilgamesh, 1776 (the play), Moby Dick, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (although that might have been 8th grade...)

No Great Gatsby for me either, but I certainly knew what it was. Teachers seemed to randomly choose different literary works each year, also it depended on which teacher you got. I dont know how i got through Highschool without Romeo & Juliet either, but somehow I did 8-)

I have no interest in the film. But then again I don't like anything Leo DiCaprio is in. But if others enjoyed it, I'm glad for them.

Star Trek Into Darkness - Wow, it took 5 months, but this is the first movie this year that has actually been really really good. The characters were well done, the one liners were funny, the plot was interesting and had some plot twists I did not see coming. I do have a few nitpicks with the movie, one of them includes they pretty much brought in this blonde woman who is there just to create a love interest for Kirk. There are also some pacing issues I have with the movie, especially in its first half hour. Outside of that though, the movie is great. Harrington (played by Sherlock's actor) easily steals the show and turns out an incredible performance. Once again every scene with Simon Pegg is phenomenal and all of the one liners from Bones are hilarious. There is nothing after the credits so you don't need to stay through them if you don't want to. This movie does a great job of not sabotaging the first movie and keeps your body moving through the entire thing. Yes, I went there for those of you that I know as to what I am referring to. :-) Overall, I give the movie a 9/10 and it is by far the best movie to come out this year!!
