Piranha (2003)
I loved this movie. So much gore and bikini, haha.
Boom
Now this is an Indian film [Bollywood]. However, its not your typical Bollywood film. It's actually an independant film, so not so sure if I should call it Bollywood or not. Yet, this film took on the "cult" style [i.e.,
Pulp Fiction] and I think it did a decent job. It's not by far the best, but certainly entertaining for me and worth a rewatch. I never seen an Indian film attempt this style so it was all brand new for me. The story itself needed a little work, but the photography was amazing, along with the acting. One of my favorite Indian actors, Amitabh Bachan starred in this film and he really surprised me in this one.
I can't remember much at the moment, but I give the film a B-.
Ra-One
Hmm....Bollywood's biggest budget film and I'm not too sure of what to think. The film was sort of what I expected from Bollywood. However, I can admit, as far as effects go, they are getting there. Yet, the film lacked in a lot of areas.
uhh...
