The Toho approved THE OFFICIAL GODZILLA COMPENDIUM uses the name "Jet-Jaguar" without exception and states that this name is
a trademark of Toho Company Ltd. So, absolutely regardless of him being named "Jet Jagger" in some Japanese books, "Jet-Jaguar"
is correct. Of course you may continue to call him "Jet Jagger" if you wish to, but (as a simple Google search easily reveals) "Jet-Jaguar" is
by far more popular and there is no sensible reason whatsoever not to use it like the rest of us.
By the way, his real name is King Kong.
