Throws a brick at Robert to knock him out before he can get out his "united we hate, dived we... hate even more" speech. Gets a patio chair and a beer and waits for fun to ensue.

I say the big screen version shows so much detail that in fact you can't see anything, and the... how was it called? "business card" version leaves a zen clarity of image to it. So right is wrong and wrong is right. The more you see the less you know. The more you say you know the less you see. And two wrongs don't make a right, but two rights make an airplane.

And why'd the monkey fall out of the tree?
Because it was dead.*

Doesnt this whole argument kinda depend on the size of your TV? How many are watching their "copies" of GFW on computer screens or little 13 inchers as opposed to 40 or 50 inch widescreen TVs? LOL

Well, you know what they say: it ain't the size of your screen, it's the.... oh, wait... that's something else.

In this particular case, I think it has more to do with the clarity and sharpness of the image. The powers that be did a wonderful job cleaning it up, and it's serviceable for viewing, but they were given garbage to start with. I found that it was less tolerable to watch when blown up full size, and I think my eyes would bleed if I saw it on a larger screen in its current state.

Sorry, this is all about Love or Hate. Black or White. Cheese or Works. Yugos or BMWs. Monica Bellucci or Rosie O'Donnell. There are simply no room for shades of grey in these discussions. :?

Which is, of course, ridiculous, and why I keep mentioning the "if there even are sides to this debate". It does seem that the opinions generally go to the extremes one way or the other, but based on what I've seen:

a) More people like GFW than not;
b) Many many people have said something along the lines of "I have some reservations, but overall I liked it", which is really probably no different than most Godzilla films.

But the nature of GFW is that it is so "out there", it was bound to stir up very vocal passions one way and the other. I was tempted to suggest to Pyras that he include some sort of "half way" option in , but as it turns out I think one just chooses which side of the fence they're on, and it's not really necessary to chart how far from the fence you are. IMDB has it's with demographics, and with a 7.3 out of 10 it comes remarkably close to Pyras' results.
