Sorry, this is all about Love or Hate. Black or White. Cheese or Works. Yugos or BMWs. Monica Bellucci or Rosie O'Donnell. There are simply no room for shades of grey in these discussions.
Which is, of course, ridiculous, and why I keep mentioning the "if there even
are sides to this debate". It does
seem that the opinions generally go to the extremes one way or the other, but based on what I've seen:
a) More people like GFW than not;
b) Many many people have said something along the lines of "I have some reservations, but overall I liked it", which is really probably no different than most Godzilla films.
But the nature of GFW is that it is so "out there", it was bound to stir up very vocal passions one way
and the other. I was tempted to suggest to Pyras that he include some sort of "half way" option in , but as it turns out I think one just chooses which side of the fence they're on, and it's not really necessary to chart how far from the fence you are. IMDB has it's with demographics, and with a 7.3 out of 10 it comes remarkably close to Pyras' results.
