    Toho and Fuji Television Network have provided information and high-res photos for YOUR LIE IN APRIL (??????, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso), the live-action adaptation of the hit manga by Naoshi Arakawa. The movie opens in Japan on September 10th. INTRODUCTION One lie created a miracle. The long-awaited film adaptation of a poignant love story. The critically acclaimed, emotional love story, Your Lie in April won the 37th Kodansha Manga Award, and the anime series which first aired in October 2014, won First Prize in the Anime Category of the “2016 SUGOI JAPAN Award.” With over 4 million copies in print, the best-selling manga has now been adapted to a live-action film, directed by a master of the genre, Takehiko Shinjo of “Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu (I GIVE MY FIRST LOVE TO YOU, BEYOND THE MEMORIES). The lead roles in YOUR LIE IN APRIL are performed by up-and-coming actors Suzu Hirose (OUR LITTLE SISTER, THE BOY AND THE BEAST, CHIHAYAFURU Part.1 / Part.2) and Kento Yamazaki (LOVE FOR BEGINNERS, L?DK – LIVING TOGETHER, WOLF GIRL & BLACK PRINCE)... two of the freshest talents today co-star for the first time in this coming-of-age story inspired by music.
