The creature first appeared in Episode 2: TERROR IN GREEN (????, Midori no Kyoofu) of the Tsuburaya Productions television series. Originally released as a standard soft vinyl figure in August 2015, the Daikaiju Series: Alien Waiell is being reissued as a model kit that must be fully assembled for display.
