No sooner did we run our report on X-Plus Co., Ltd`s Giant Monster Figure Lineup for April 2018, then they announced a few more daikaiju for the month. The Japanese collectibles company has now provided SciFi Japan with information and daikaiju-sized photos of their latest additions. X-Plus` monster figures can be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website. Shounen Ric offers Exclusives and Limited Editions with bonus features or extra pieces not available from other retailers. The standard "General Distribution" versions of the figures are sold by stores and online retailers including SFJ`s sponsors Anime Jungle and Flossie`s Gifts & Collectibles. Most X-Plus figures are recommended for fans and collectors ages 15 years and older.

Set Contents Hedorah In July 2017, X-Plus launched their Soft Series line, which reissued figures from the Daikaiju Series, but now molded in extra-soft vinyl and filled with cotton to become stuffed toys. To date, all of the Soft Series figures have been based on Tsuburaya Productions` Ultraman franchise, but X-Plus is now adding Toho monsters to the mix, starting with the Smog Monster, Hedorah, from GODZILLA VS HEDORAH (???????, Gojira Tai Hedora, 1971). Previously released as a standard edition figure in December 2011, this sculpt of Hedorah depicts the creature as it first evolves to come ashore after beginning its life at sea.
