    DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA – THE MOVIE: INFINITY CASTLE Again Tops North American Box Office

    Sony Reports Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures’ DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE (劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限城編, Gekijō-ban `Kimetsu no Yaiba' Mugen-jō Hen) once again took the top spot at the North American box office in its second of release. For the weekend of September 19-21, 2025,  the movie earned $17.3 million from 3,342 locations for a PTA of $5,177 and a domestic cume through Sunday of $104.730 million.

    After opening at #1 internationally, this weekend  saw DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE drop to the 2nd spot with a take of $44.565 million (behind Chinese title 73” which made $121.202 million).  The colossal worldwide total stands over $665.830 million. Crunchyroll/Sony markets delivered $36 million. The film expanded to German-speaking and French-speaking markets and set new records as the #1 anime opening of all time across each new territory. France debuted with $8.6 million, and Germany launched to $8.2 million. Cumes-to-date for top Crunchyroll/Sony overseas holdover markets: Mexico ($15.1 million, #1 all-time anime), Hong Kong ($12.4 million, #1 all-time anime and animated), India ($8.1 million, #1 all-time anime), UK ($7.5 million), Indonesia ($7.3 million, #1 all-time anime), Brazil ($7.2 million, #1 all-time anime), Thailand ($7 million, #1 all-time anime and animated), Malaysia ($6.7 million, #1 all-time anime), Philippines ($6.4 million, #1 all-time anime), and Spain ($6 million, #1 all-time anime).  The pic is playing internationally on 11,587+ screens in 62 Sony markets.

    The numbers were announced by the theatrical measurement service, Comscore. As the trusted official standard for real-time worldwide box office reporting, Comscore provides the only theater-level reporting in the world. 

    DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE is the first feature film in the three-part cinematic trilogy representing the final battle of the hugely popular, award-winning anime shonen series from famed animation studio ufotable.
