Sony Reports Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures’ DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA INFINITY CASTLE (劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限城編, Gekijō-ban `Kimetsu no Yaiba' Mugen-jō Hen) continues to elevate its global box office tally as the highest grossing anime film of all time to a towering $666.8 million.
Crunchyroll/Sony markets delivered $1.7 million worldwide this weekend, including $1.1 million overseas from 59 markets and 1,500+ screens, for a studio cume of $345.6 million ($213.3 million international, $132.4 million domestic). Cumes-to-date for top Crunchyroll/Sony overseas holdover markets: Mexico ($18.2 million, #1 all-time anime), France ($18.1 million, #1 all-time anime), Germany ($16.1 million), India ($9.5 million, #1 all-time anime), UK ($9.3 million), Brazil ($9.1 million, #1 all-time anime), Spain ($7.6 million, #1 all-time anime), Indonesia ($7.3 million, #1 all-time anime), Thailand ($7.1 million, #1 all-time anime and animated), and Malaysia ($6.8 million, #1 all-time anime).
