IDW Solicits Godzilla: Cataclysm #1 for August 2014

Source: IDW Publishing Special Thanks to Kahlil Schweitzer and Rosalind Morehead Last Friday, IDW Publishing announced their new Godzilla comic book mini-series Godzilla: Cataclysm. Today, the first issue was solicited to retailers for release in August 2014. Godzilla: Cataclysm is scripted by acclaimed writer Cullen Bunn (The Sixth Gun, Venom) and features amazing artwork from Russ Manning Award nominee Dave Wachter (Breath of Bones, Night of 1000 Wolves). The first issue will also have a variant cover by Mehdi Cheggour (Enormous). An additional variant cover from Hugo Award-winning artist Bob Eggleton will be available for subscription customers only. Years have passed since the monster apocalypse nearly destroyed mankind. Now it is merely a distant, nightmarish memory for Hiroshi, an elder in one of the few remaining tribes of humans.
