What if Daei asked you to do a Gamera anime.

Spinning flame-jetted turtles, space birds being chopped up like bologna, kids in shorts screaming for help...the original Gamera series was a strange mix of wacky fun!! The 90's Gamera films set a standard that other kaiju films are measured against! Discuss Gamera films here!!

Well, Im not in to Anime too terribly much, but I do enjoy it, and if Gamera was to become an anime, I would have it be one of the darker ones, this would give it that trademark Kanenko feel, as for the story..I would pick up.......

Gamera, missing an arm and impaled through the chest walks out among the flames to confront the swarm of Gyaos descending on Japan...he engages in battle and is instantly on the losing side as the small kaiju begin mercilessly attacking him.....As Asagi watches on another girl walks up beside her and Ayana....the two girls look at the new comer...but the girl stares straight ahead....suddenly...the sky seems lit in brilliant red light as a massive kaiju descends from the sky....the beast stands roughly Gamera's size in height and seems similar to the earth guardian...but in a strange way......any way...this new beast saves Gamera by holding off the Gyaos...and after the battle the girl explains to Asagi and Ayana that every planet has it's own guardian...Gamera is earth's, Iris was the moons ( his "egg" landed on earth when the moon was sucked dry of its life force thousands of years ago by the Gyaos) and this new creature is Mars guardian. Asagi and Ayana are awe struck, but the new girl explains Gamera's use of Mana not only set off the earth's balance...but since the earth is attached to the entire universe in a loop of Taigek (or universial) energy...the entire universe, every planet is now off balance, and billions of Gyaos-ish creatures are appearing on every planet in the universe, and all heading for earth to destroy the source of the problem.......Gamera

Gamera, and the other solar system guardians would face off against different universally spawned kaiju in an attempt to save earth and it's inhabitants until finally on the last episode, Gamera sacrifices himself in a heartless and touching way to re-balance the universe...........I just thought it up on the spot, so it isn't too thought out but seems pretty anime-ish, and Gamera like at the same time...:dunno:
