In honor of the new movie's not sucking to the alarming degree that I feared, I'm doing several topics over the next couple of weeks with Aliens and Predators. If anyone has further suggestions, PM me or post in this thread.
But I couldn't resist this merging of John McTiernan's great action movies.
The scenario:
Another group of terrorists has seized and sealed off the top ten floors of the newly rebuilt Nakatomi Building (the Die Hard version of the tower in Fox Plaza in LA). John McClane was dropped on the roof as the obvious expert in dealing with this situation, and within several hours managed to slaughter the terrorists, cracking witty one-liners and getting beaten up along the way, until he was standing off in front of the terrorist leader holding a hostage. Before either could do anything, a camouflaged young Predator who had been lurking around picking off terrorists grabbed the leader, and in a wild spray of gunfire McClane killed the terrorist and mortally wounded the Predator. "Yippie-ki-yay, you ugly motherf***er!" (The hostage was saved, of course.) One of the older Predators, seeing this from orbit, deemed McClane worthy prey and immediately fired down a capsule to impact on the roof of the Nakatomi Building. Cloaked, the Predator slips onto the top floor. McClane is currently one floor beneath him. Only the top ten floors are accessible via elevator or stairs. The Predator has all the equipment of the creature in the first film. McClane has recovered an MP5 and his police-issue 9mm pistol, and there is virtually limitless ammo to be had from dead, maimed, and unconscious terrorists lying around. The terrorists also had retrievable plastic explosives, grenades, and even anti-tank missiles. The building is now badly damaged and nearly deserted. The LAPD is surrounding the building but very reluctant to enter.
Who wins, the Predator or John McClane? Please, get as creative and funny as possible! I am pretty unsure myself.
