From Bloody-Disgusting:
Warner Bros. Pictures and Basil Iwanyk's Thunder Road Prods. will produce a live-action feature adaptation of the 1967 Rankin & Bass animated special Mad Monster Party, according to Variety. John Pardee and Joey Murphy will write the script, in which Baron Von Frankenstein calls together all of cinema's classic monsters for a conference and announces that he's turning over their leadership to his clueless nephew.
It's going to be interesting to see how they pull this off. I love the stop-motion film and hopefully the live version will retain that nostalgic feeling, given they don't stuff it with stupid CGI creations.
