Does anyone else listen to Kajagoogoo's "Too Shy" and think of "Save the Earth?"

Well this film was..."different" lol but personally i enjoyed all Heisei Era films if i had to rank them for me i would have to go(from worst to best) GvMG,GvKG,G85,GvSG,GvB,GvM,GvD gotta give the movie one thing i LOVED the space godzilla concept and the creature himself was VERY cool indeed(looking foward to G:StE) in fact i would say Space G gets into my top 5 Kaiju. Just my opinon and "appreciation" of Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla

Godzilla Vs Spacegodzilla is a mixed bag IMO. I certainly don't dislike the movie, but for every great concept [Spacegodzilla,I think he looks terrific, truly evil] there is a poor or redundant one [Moguera, what is it's point in the film?]. I read ooce ]probably on this board] that the film was originally much longer and was heavily cut,I think it shows as several elements are introduced and then discarded or rushed.I could ertianly watch a longer cut-I quite liked the human element in the film, but some of it,such as the love story, actually needed more footage to make more sense.

It's obvious that the director was interested in the human side more than the monster side. The final battle is actually boring, probably the worst battle in a Godzilla film, and it really ruins the film for me.Not completely, but a great deal. The score does not work tht well in the film IMO but, with it's John Williams and John Barry-type touches,it's a great listen on the CD.

Perhaps editing is this movie's biggest fault. Think what you will about the final battle, but it really needed to be trimmed. Haruo Nakajima choreographed all of the battles in the Showa series (something I feel he doesn’t get enough credit for). I just wondered what he thought of this close to an hour(!) beam war.

Like it was said earlier, the concept was interesting, but poorly executed.
