Gamera vs. Mechagodzilla 93

Gamera blasts a fireball. MG gets rocked back on its heels, with requisite parts smoking and sparking. But then one of the little guys inside notices that that was enough heat to fuel the plasma weapon.

Gamera gets hit by the plasma grenade, but it just charges HIM back up again.

Ad nauseam...

Well, ok, after a little while of that Gamera will just walk up and beat MG to a pulp. But wasn't that fun to think about, guys?

Gamera never seemed as durable as Godzilla.
Missiles annoy Godzilla, missiles knock Gamera out of the sky and injur him.
Gamera gets chunks blown off by Legion's beam, Godzilla repeatedly withstands his own ray vastly amplified by the Fire Mirror.
Gamera gets fried by a very large conventional explosion, Godzilla survived being nuked (before he was Godzilla, even).
A pattern, indeed.

MG was designed to take out Godzilla and succeeded through clever strategy and sheer firepower. The Fire Rodan resurrection issue was not one that could have occured to the designers.
MG would tear Gamera to bits.
