My criticism was not associated with the very creative plot. My criticism is associated with how they "marketed" it. Really, after seeing "Ghidrah: the Three Headed Monster," "Monster Zero," "Destroy All Monsters," well... "Godzilla's Revenge" was billed as the "Next Big Godzilla Movie." I would have appreciated a littel more honesty in the marketing. Not sure that's Toho's fault. That had to be the decision of the American distributor, I guess. Nevertheless, the opening sequences still led me to believe I was going to watch a monster melee, like "Destroy All Monsters" and what I ended up with were dream sequences and
a lot of footage from previous movies.

I couldn't help being disappointed.
