My number one desire for a Godzilla movie would be another King Kong vs. Godzilla. Except Kong would be just like the 1933 version except matched to Godzilla's size and with Toho kaiju durability. I honestly don't know who I would like to see win, I think the ambiguous tie scenario would be the best for me. Actually, I always thought it would be cool to see the two monsters in alignment as well.

Monster Zero, there's a lot of people who don't consider the end of King Kong vs. Godzilla a loss for Godzilla, so there's no need to fret over it.

Well, Emkaiju, he won last time, why not again?

Monster Zero, I'd just have Kong be a melee maniac. He already does some pretty awesome things against his Tyrannosaurus opponent in 1933.

I agree with Kevin, since I was very young, I always thought of both Godzilla and King Kong as "King of the Monsters".

You mean to tell me you honestly can't see a Godzilla-sized Kong win??

Kong

+Immense strength - (probably the strongest of all kaiju)
+Incredible agility - Able to execute flips, rolls and evasion techniques
+Intelligence - possibly the smartest kaiju (outside of Mothra)
+Stamina and Endurance
+Excellent swimmer - can swim for miles non-stop
+Fighting Skill - able to execute Grabs, throws and bone-breaking maneuvers

+/- Electricity stimulates Kong's adrenaline, making him many times stronger. Also, Kong's touch becomes electrified. Note: Personally, I don't accept this ability as canon.
+/- Kong is distracted and even annoyed by bright lights. He will be temporarily stunned, then focus on destroying the source.

-Being covered in fur can be a massive liability when fighting heat-emitting enemies
-Kong never really tires, but tends to lose interest in a fight if he's not dominating. Unless he's goaded on by a beautiful woman, Kong will forfeit the fight and try again later.

Kong can dodge Godzilla's beams all day (remember, Godzilla is very SLOW) and can pummel Godzilla senseless. Kong can break Godzilla in any number of ways. Kong doesn't simply defeat his opponents, he CRIPPLES them or flat-out KILLS them.

I envision Godzilla brutally beaten with a broken jaw, and possibly a broken back, as well. G-Cells will kick in, but Kong will have left the scene in victory by the time Godzilla is up to fighting strength.

The only real problem I see Godzilla giving Kong is the Pulse. There's no way Kong can dodge it, and it's likely to either set him on fire or just hurt really, really bad.

Can you see a sumo wrestler beating a man in body armor with a flamethrower?

Plus, G's beam would be even more potent close range, and if we're talking about the way a toho Kong should be...a giant, super strong, G-sized Gorilla...he will be blown back, or, have a hole blown in his body, or, be instantly set ablaze, and confused, allowing Godzilla to tear him to pieces with his claws, tail, teeth ( maybe even seal Kong's fate with a Nuclear Pulse, depending on which Goji we're talking about)...there is no way at all that Kong, could beat Godzilla GvsKK doesn't represent whatwould happen in a modern GvsKK battle, KK has remained the same while G has evolved into an amzingly powerful kaiju. Any Heisi and up incarnation of Godzilla would easily tear Kong to pieces, at least IMO.......

I pretty much agree 100% with Bloodyarts. As I stated before, just as it was in the movie, Kong would have increased durability. Why is that so hard to accept? Other kaiju routinely take blasts from Godzilla's ray and fight hand to hand with him well enough, but for some reason everyone just thinks Kong would die instantly. It seems a lot of people are biased towards him, and probably for the mere fact that he beat Godzilla (I know people like to interpret it different ways, but that's what the director had to say on the issue).

I agree that King Kong should be like the 1933 monster, but I think he should be bumped up to about 100 feet. Godzilla should be bumped down to about 100 feet. Simply a giant 200 foot monkey would be too bizaare IMO. And a whole new storyline should be adopted. Like maybe they each could be the gods of their respective lands, who are destined to fight.

Well naturally, in a movie, they will give Kong any powers they DAMN WELL WANT TO. (Like...electricity!) However, a massive version of the 1933 Kong confronted with a living radioactive flamethrower would run for the hills. he doesn't have any thing to prove, nor can he survive something like that.
