The US title of SAN DAIKAJU: CHIKYU SAIDAI-NO KESSEN ("Three Giant Monsters: The Greatest Battle on Earth" [I just love that title, when I first read about it in The Monster Times, back in the 1970s]) is GHIDRAH: THE THREE-HEADED MONSTER; Toho's International title is MONSTER OF MONSTERS: GHIDORAH. As for KAIJU DAISENSO (aka "Monster Zero"), the title translates as THE GREAT MONSTER WAR (or "Great Monster Warfare") -- but, not "Giant Monster War," as "Dai" (big, giant, great) is not conjoined with the Kanji for "Kaiju," but is conjoined with "Senso" (war).
BTW, UPA gave KAIJU DAISENSO the title INVASION OF THE ASTRO-MONSTERS, but for Toho's advertising materials, it seems that between UPA and Toho, someone screwed up the English and accidentally dropped the plural (why is there a plural, anyhow?)...
Personally, I prefer GODZILLA-EBIRAH-MOTHRA: GREAT DUEL IN THE SOUTH SEAS to "Big Duel in the South Seas"... But, to each his own. I used to not care for EBIRAH: HORROR OF THE DEEP, but its grown on me.
As long as the title isn't completely daft, then what's in a name? Just give me an excellent print in its original aspect ratio...
