Well, I've been a busy boy since last month, though I didn't follow Richard's advice.

Yet.

I've got a few random Orion figures now, mostly from Gamera 1. The latest is a clear Magma, who's on his way to me.

In the SD department, the buying bug has bitten once more, urging me to get an extra Ebirah and Gigan (sodomized vinyl, anyone? ) and most of Super Collection 1 and 2 - basically just the unique molds for now.

And my new passion, High Grade figures, have taken a nice bite out of my wallet, with the purchase of two HG 10 (one for a friend) and scoring HG 5 at a nice price. I'm most proud of snagging Cretaceous Ghidorah for $4. :D

I recently bought Bandai's wonderful close mouthed 91 Godzilla figure(My favorite modern G suit design) for a very cheap price and then I won a bid on a figure I have coveted for a long time....

 :eek2:

 "we're not worthy, we're not worthy"

I have wanted the Bandai Gorosaurus figure for years, but the prices for it everywhere I looked over the years were completely insane. Now I finally found it at a respectable price (for Gorosaurus anyways).

Now If I could only find the Bandai Kamakuras figure without sacrificing an arm and a leg (with or without tag....unlike some, I am not a stickler for having the tag included....great if it is, no biggie if it isn't).

Ah... I'm finally almost done! So close, I can taste it... yum...

Of course, I'm talking about my neat little SD collection! Rather than divide myself into too many lines at once, I just bit the bullet and snagged every remaining figure from Super Collection. Even the repaints! I might as well...

Plus, I have leads on at least four of the chase figures... all in all, it's a good time to collect SDs. :D

A couple awesome scores came in toawrd the end of last week.

I had my eye on the "Burning" Bio-Goji variant from M1 for quite some time, but other things kept floating to the top of my priority list. However, I finally scored one of these. It's really cool in person -- any photograph I've seen doesn't do it justice. The silver spray might be somewhat heavy-handed, but the red vinyl really lends a luminesence to the figure from underneath the black coating. And those eyes! Dear God, the eyes!!!

Heh....

The other thing I got in the same shipment was the flesh-colored M1 G2K from the M1 Godzilla Figure Set:

I wanted this variant of the G2K sculpt because I have the other three and, seeing as how this is my favortie sculpt of my favortie G suit, this was the last one I needed to complete the set. However I had never seen it advertised seperately from the others pictured above before, and I never had the cash to pony up for all of them.

Now, I think I need to chill for a bit...unless someone comes up with a painted set of M1 Gargantuas, then my resolve will probably weaken. Then again, I'm going to Japan in July...

Ok, I've done something I never expected to for a while... I bought a Bandai figure.

I'm not talking about Bandai Creation (which are musts for any collection, considering they're one of the few US releases ever), but a real Japanese Bandai vinyl figure!

For just $20 shipped, I got the Kiryu with arm spear! I'm really excited about it, and I know what to expect in terms of quality and size - because, only temporarily, I own the black 2003 theater exclusive Kiryu. It's so good, I might actually pick one up for myself.

Also just ordered the Rocket Productions 6" Barugon and Space Gyaos figures. "Godzilla's Revenge" should be coming any day now from CD Japan as well.

I'm hoping beyond hope that at least one vintage toy will be waiting for me at Chiller Theater later this month.
