Arrow's 4th Shawscope set is all horror/fantasy/sci-fi and we're finally getting their tokusatsu hero movie Inframan! I knew it must've been slotted for this set because it was too high profile to not have been licensed by the four (five?) boutique labels that have been putting out Shaw Brothers movies for the last four years.

Is there a chance that Arrow might release Inframan on its own in the future? Have they done that for other movies in their prior Shawscope sets?

It's possible. Most of the Shawscope vol. 1 titles have been reissued in more affordable 3 or 4 film sets in standard cases. This was after that first 'limited edition' volume went out of print, of course... and the subsequent sets have taken longer and longer to sell out!

Notably, Mighty Peking Man is the rare volume 1 title which hasn't been reissued. I suspect it may eventually be bundled with Inframan. These standard releases are colllected on theme.

Some absolutely phenomenal home video announcements recently. Speed Racer is getting a 4k (and an IMAX rerelease!). Arrow is putting out a mammoth set of the '90s Jackie Chan movies WB has the rights to (this might be release of the year). But most importantly to us: Shout is putting out a 4K of THEM! I'm very happy we're getting some new special features and such after Warner's previous releases have been barebones.
