Well I watched Disc 5 and the first 5 episodes on Disc 6 today. Thankfully there have been no subtitles issues. The only error has been on the disc menu's episode titles of Disc 5 where they mispelled Cruel as Curel. With that said, wow, the episodes on Disc 5 was absolutely amazing!!! The first six felt like Ultra Seven episodes. They were so good. I think the episode with Prizuma is my favorite of the series as it was just spectacular. Then again, the vampire one was also just as good. As for the Nackle 2 parter, it was almost as good as "The Seven Assassination Plan," but there are 2 minor nitpicks I have with it.
The two winter horror story episodes (no idea why they have that title, but they do) were great and the Baltan one was not bad.
As for the episodes I watched on Disc 6, they didn't match up to what was on Disc 5, but they were still excellent. It was nice that someone other than Go finallly got an episode to themselves (Ibuki). The last episode I watched made you think there was finally going to be an episode where we were finally going to get some character development for Oka, but nope, the episode wasn't about her, so that was lame. I also have one major gripe with one episode about this story teller her throws a kid off a bridge and blames Go for hitting him with his car. Go goes to visit the kid in the hospital and the nurse says the kids parents are too busy with work to visit him. WHAT THE "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!"??!! The kid is in the hospital, near death, and his parents will not visit him? Oh HELL NO!! They have no right being parents if they aren't even going to drop their own "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" work schedule to take care of their dying child. Japan needs some equivalent to CPS! BTW, for someone who knows that episode, is the actor who players the Story Teller the guy who plays Barza in Zyuranger? It certainly looks and sounds like him, but I can't find anything Ultraman related on that actor's credits on either IMDB or the Sentai Wiki.
Only 4 episodes to go, which I'm saving for tomorrow. I can not wait to finish this show!
