Here's what pisses me off about Rings...
Okay, now we have thin, flat monitors, which provides all sorts of interesting visual ideas for a movie in the Ring series, right? So the TV ends up on the floor, but face down so that when Sadako comes out she appears to emerge as if from a basement with the TV being like a trapdoor. THIS - IS - WRONG! Obviously, the TV should have landed screen up and the camera assume the POV of the victim on the ground and then we watch Sadako emerging up from the TV screen/floor like she emerges from the well on the video.
I mean, it's obvious, right? I'm not crazy, am I?
