Just got an update: Joel specifies that, although only Mary Jo, Kevin, and Bill are official, it's his hope to get everyone back, if not in season 11, then in season 12.

'Season 12' ? It may not be overconfidence: one of the great things about Netflix is a track record of giving their originals at least two seasons.

I am so glad to have been part of the Kickstarter on this! Even without any of the goodies offered, just the fact it's going to be on Netflix with (hopefully) additional seasons after 11 is sooo worth it! :D

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

The Green Slime, which was partially used in the unarmed pilot, would make a great episode. The remaining Showa Gameras would all be great. Reptilicus would be awesome!

I'd like to see some martial arts films, which haven't really been done, but I feel would be right at home with MST3K. One of my favorite genres MST3K did were those James Bond spy movie rip-offs from the '60s, and I'm sure there's more of those I don't know about. Italian sword and sorcery is always great and there must be hundreds of those.

They did Master Ninja twice. I'd love to see some Shaw Brothers action on MST3K, myself.

Of the remaining Showa Gamera films, I'd just do Jiger. Viras and Super Monster have too much stock footage that MSTies have seen a zillion times already. Plus it has Cornjob.

Jiger would be perfect. It's also my second favorite Showa Gamera, so I'm biased.

I wonder how they'll do the host segments without commercial breaks? I suppose the satellite's theater could have imposed intermissions for some sort of BS technical reason...

^Heck, the Gaia movie with that weak English dub would be good, too.

(in my wish-fulfilling fantasy this comes with Shout! distributing lots of Ultraman DVDs and Blu-Rays)

They're apparently deep into production now. According to Joel in the latest update, most of the silhouette stuff (i.e. the majority of the episodes) has been filmed. Joel also promises more cameos that came together 'in the last minute.'

^No guarantee this is legit, yet.

... but if it is? Jeez. Maybe the strongest lineup of films in the series' history.

If this list is legit... it will be their strongest season experimentwise.

A lot of potential for a lot of fun films...still a bit disappointed would have been hilarious...if the list is legit that is, I'm thinking it might be, if the season is supposed to be a late 2016 release, (I'm guessing December) it has to be close. If fans don't binge...maybe watch 2-3 per week, they can enjoy the xmas episode around that time.

I'm not really into binging, especially with a show like this, not sure how you can. I plan to watch one episode per evening on the weekends (Fri, Sat, Sunday) My weekend treat for several weeks 8)

That's a pretty solid list, but I think in particular has the potential to be something really special.

I've been pretty down on this relaunch, but this possible list is definitely intriguing.

I wonder though...beause of the limits of the 2 hours with commercial format, most movies had to be edited somewhat. It is my hope that all these episodes will show the movie in its entirety without cutting anything out. Also I wonder how it will flow without "commercial sign" :?:
