The star-arrow / meteor symbol on the team's car is a gimme... but what is the other insignia on their doors that features Earth with three Saturn-like rings around it representing??? Always wondered that.
Anyone?

Just guessing, but aren't there supposed to be several different groups in this fictional world? Like, there's some bigger organization above the Science Patrol? Maybe the symbol represents them.

I've wondered this myself! I've never seen that logo used anywhere else but on that car.
