JLA looks horrible. DC got itself in too deep and committed to a person (Snyder) who just doesn't get it and now they're panicking and thinking a few lame quips means we won't see the forest for the trees.

Wonder Woman looks great but that JL teaser was as odd and disjointed as Batman v Superman was. It had no flow at all.

I don't know what you are talking about Jelly, but the JL trailer showed some promise. It had color in it, it had one liners, it was fun. That is the exact opposite of what we have had so far. Now I don't care for Hobo Aquaman nor Ezra Miller, but I did like the scene with Bruce and Barry because it was funny and is something a young Barry would say. I also liked the quip between Cyborg and Batman and then the fish joke Bruce made to Drago.

Hopefully, the final product will be good and when they bring Superman back, he will become the true Superman.

Geoff Johns taking over the universe has already shown positive results. Was it a perfect trailer? God no, but considering they probably aren't even a quarter of the way through filming, what they showed was perfectly fine. Nevertheless, there is hope.

The upheaval like that behind Warner  Bros.' DC team-up is becoming a staple of studio franchise filmmaking.

How long can Warners continue to disappoint superhero fans?

Suicide Squad is getting terrible reviews. General consensus is a convoluted and boring plot. There's been some praise for Robbie, but that's about it.

^George Miller directing a New Gods movie is the best idea I've ever heard.

I'd rather not see a director I like get dragged into the catastrophe that is the DCEU.

The idea of Snyder being in charge of these Jack Kirby characters is terrifying - put Miller in charge of 'em! After creating Furiousa I'm sure he can pull off and awesome Big Barda!

It all depends on the franchise and the director. I definitely want directors with specific styles to stay away from stuff like the MCU. You're so roped in by the universe that they won't allow you to flex creatively and do your thing.

But Nolan had success in a big franchise like Batman.
Franchises can work. Cinematic universes not so much.

THR:

The Aussie actress already has two projects set at the studio, including a spinoff for her 'Suicide Squad' character Harley Quinn.
