You could do a little digital de-aging for the original cast in a cameo role!

^... well, uh, if it's any consolation: she still looks great. I was just saying digital de-aging because this movie is only set six years after the first (and Billy Campbell would need much more post production work than Connelly).

1944 must have been a lot more progressive than I remember, but I'm sure they will address that in the plot somehow

I was reading comments about the announcement elsewhere (Reddit maybe?) Someone looked into the WASP records, there was one black woman but she was asked to withdraw her application.

I've read several comments that making the new character a Tuskegee Airman instead; which makes so much more sense if you want a second Rocketeer who is black.

^And Connelly's real life husband is one of the Avengers!

... The Vision, btw. They're the exact same age, too.

I never said she shouldn't be in the movie. Just a depressing observation of time passing by. I remember drooling over her in Hulk when I first saw her and seeing her aged made me sad at how much time has gone by since then.

I'd slam her plus a bunch of other older female celebs that have 5 years on her.

I feel like the only acceptable response is either an Anchorman gif or an Archer gif, but I can't decide which...
