i unexpectedly got a couple chirashi posters along with some manga i ordered the other day. It looks like the back has a cast list on it. Anyone know if the Don Johnson listed there is the one famous for his work on Miami Vice?

Well at the very least it seems this Bob Werley and Charles Glover have logged in a lot of roles over the last few years of their career--Several of which are Japanese productions no less. The only "other" Don Johnson I've found seems to prefer being credited as "Donald" Johnson.

So, hopefully these aren't more Leo Meneghettis.

Not sure what kind of figure this is but, although the resolution isn't great, does it seem like Godzilla has a little more flesh on his hide? Particularly the arms?

You know; considering the rather out-there imaginations of both Anno and Higuchi I can't help but feel that there is a whole lot of weird stuff in this movie that we don't know about yet.

Not sure if a spoiler but from reading the cast Still as previously stated with Anno and Higuchi at the helm, this promises to be full of twists and turns. Watching rebirth of Eva recently, I was surprised at how big of a turn it took from the series I was used to from the 90's, and of course everyone saw how Higuchi gave Gamera a cool but different appearance every time he arrived to the scene in Kaneko's trilogy. I imagine there will be a scene where only the tail is seen rising from the depths like a parascope before the big G makes his marvelous appearance. And it would be nice to have a short before the film like Godzilla vs Eva vs Titans like we did with Godzilla vs Bambi instead of the usual, Hamtaro.

I don't know...I've been down this road before with Transformers (Look up Transformers Kiss Players, specifically the character named "Legion" for some head trauma) . I made a quick U-turn on that road and never went back down it. Hopefully the reasoning for what were seeing at the end of Godzilla's tail is just simply...they had no idea, kind of like the original VHS Box Art for the castle in The Little Mermaid.

A minor point, but I rewatched the trailer while wearing my new headphones, and it sounds an awful lot like a mono audio mix. Another little nod to the original movie, perhaps, or maybe Toho just aren't as bombastic with stereo/surround trailer effects as Hollywood.
