Couldn't find a thread for this, so mods, if one exists, feel free to move it...Now, on to the movie! I found this to be like "Fury Road" as both movies shared one characteristic to me, they were both exhilarating! I was curious how the whole "first person viewpoint" would hold up for an entire movie. WOW, I was impressed. I really had a fun time with this and was spellbound at how well everything worked. Really a unique(and enjoyable) experience to my eyes. Good story, good laughs, and GREAT action, I can't recommend it enough. The only downside is that if you are prone to motion sickness(as some were with "Cloverfield")you may want to pass, otherwise, get a ticket and hold on for the ride!

AKA First Person Shooter The Movie and boy does it live up to its nickname. It was like the studio took the cutscenes from a 4 hour FPS and strung them together into an incomprehensible mess where the novelty wears off 10 minutes into it. If you are looking for a movie with even a tiny bit of plot or character development, look else where because you will find nothing but boredom here. The action is bland and the only saving grace for the main stuntmen is that they do not have to admit to doing this farce due to the lack of ever actually seeing their face on camera. If you love playing a pointless generic video game like the FPS genre tends to be, this is for you. Everyone else, don't even waste your time. In the end, while it will not end up being the worst movie of 2016, it is definitely a contender for it. I give Hardcore Henry a 5/10 and those five stars are for its music and the character of Jimmy, who is this movie's only highlight.

Hmmm...so far one guy loves it, and one guy hates it...guess I'll just have to see for myself! Which is what I do all the time anyway.
