NEW ULTRAMAN!!!!!

Postby Kaiju Nexus » Wed Feb 25, 2004 4:49 pm

Henshin!Online has a new article (several actually) about Tsubaraya Production's new endevours. One of which is a new take on the Ultraman series. They have designed a new Ultraman character called Ultraman Noa, though there aren't any plans to actually feature him in a show. Check it out!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That thing is so AWESOME!! How could they not plan to feature him in a show?

Well, this "whole new Ultraman saga" approach sounds interesting. I wonder if we'll see and reverberatiosn of it here in the west?

The only Ultraman to sport spandex was Ultraman Great from ULTRAMAN: TOWARDS THE FUTURE. All of the other Ultramen sported rubber suits.

I think that the link to H!O is sufficient for people to see the photos -- otherwise, why bother visiting the site? Oh yeah, because you can READ the article! :o

Yes, indeed--as cool as some Ultramen look, the whole "rubber jumpsuit" isn't a very flattering or particularly impressibe look--the anime-like armor is a great look...even if Noa doesn't turn up in a show, hopefully it indicates a new design sensibility for the UM...

He looks a bit on the mechanical side, though. Very much like one of those emaciated cartoon Eva robot things. (I'm not fond of those guys at all)
Still, If he ever turns up in his own series or whatever, I'd give it a look.

Last time I checked, there were about 28 of 'em. And I can't remember most of their names either!
