Its funny, yesterday I Google searched the namestogether. I found a message board where another fan expressed the same thought I had (I'm sure there are a few who noticed), but he was blasted by other fans. I think because he assumed a more direct link, than my more ambiguous one, but still, it was sad to see others tear him apart. Maybe because he was so sure of himself? I don't know, all I know is my idea is wayyyyyyyyyyy out in left field based on a single observation, and I have no pride loss if I'm totally wrong.

I'd so rather not Rey be related to the Skywalkers. It just comes off as too contrived.

I'll say this: if the episodes want to concern themselves with the continuing adventures of the Skywalkers, and let the spin offs focus on other characters and untold stories, I'm not 100% opposed to that.

But please no Young Han Solo movie. For serious.

She's a Skywalker. Early on, some one (JJ or Lucas) was talking about the story and saying it's akin to a King Arthur tale and it's all about the sword. I could have sworn it was in a video released some time after the first teaser. The saber belonged to Anakin and then his son Luke, and it will be passed down to his child Rey.

^I expected as much. After Force Awakens ruled the end of the year I wondered if they weren't making a mistake to release the sequel only a year and a half later (stealing Rogue One's thunder) and in the summer. They should make Star Wars a holiday tradition.

I know May is a feeding frenzy for Hollywood blockbusters, and any movie released in that window runs the risk of being overshadowed by the next Friday's big thing, but placing this movie head-to-head with Avatar 2 seems an odd choice.

Also I was really looking forward to having two new Star Wars movies six months apart, so I'm going to sulk for a while.
