Wow! I am getting super stoked for this. Just out of curiosity, does anybody want to take a guess on when the American release of this might happen. Like late 2016 or more likely 2017? Definitely going to be tough for me to wait...

They're shooting day and night scenes in Utsunomiya on September 20 and 21, so I just sent in an application to be an extra. Wish me luck! They're requesting people AND cars, so I signed my Nissan up, too!

Utsunomiya is only an hour down the road from here (Sano), so even if I don't get picked, I'm going to go check out the shoot anyway.

I wonder if they will say how big he is. (crosses fingers he doesn't surpass 400feet, there is such a thing as too big)

After watching Attack on Titan it is apparent how much Higuchi cares for the Titan scenes over anything else. I can't wait to see what he comes up with. ALSO, I kind of wonder if this will be the first Japanese Godzilla without a man in suit? We know he is going to apply the hybrid technique that worked really well on the Colossal Titan but that wasn't a suit it was a giant puppet. Maybe this Godzilla will only be a giant puppet... I hope they have lots of behind the scenes stuff for us to gawk at.

^I had a lot of fun watching that. Something heartening about an old fashioned 'fleeing civilians' scene.

Nice. Only 2 meters bigger than G'14. So happy he won't be stupid large for the movie.

Also that girl who is playing the lead is pretty.

*edit* OOOOh that is Hans from the Attack on Titan movie. I want to marry her.
