The proposed MonsterArts Zero line would be more for Showa kaiju, not Heisei. Though it would not surprise me if we finally got Bio-Goji as a static release this way.

I just hope that means that's not the only way we're getting Showa kaiju.

So out of curiosity, if Bandai went up to you and said, "Hey, we are going to do one more fully articulated figure and you have been chosen to be the one to decide what character that will be," who would you pick?

As much as I want other characters, my pick would be Showa Ghidorah.

Godzilla 1968, Megalon, Jet Jaguar or Titanosaurus...monsters that can really benefit from lots of articulation.

Megalon and JJ would be my backups but i cant help but picture Titano being anything other than an articulation disaster.

SHMA has had issues with fin gaps in the past and i think Titanosaurus would be even less forgiving when you start chopping his up fins

Top 2 choices with wild card 3rd

Showa Ghidorah, Godzilla '84, Showa Gigan.

But I agree that Megalon and Ttianosaurus need to get some love. I might be the only person, but I'd like to see a Zilla/Godzilla 98. It'd need a stand to stand but I'd really like something better than the Trendmasters Slash Claw (or whatever) figure.

I've never thought of it that way, cool. He is a pretty expressive character with the motion the suit achieved, and a super-articulated version could tap into that. Super-articulated sludge...

Still, none of this seems likely based on the recent interview. Because ya know, the most flexible and mobile characters of the franchise don't call for articulation and should be statues instead! Only fatass 90's characters should be articulated! :|

Well I bit the bullet and bought MKG. Lovely figure! The right wing was a tad stiff but once I was able to get it moving it moved with ease.

Anyone got the spitfire Godzilla. And if so, how was it.

Oh and is there any way to fix the problem with the eyes of the figure.

So since it seems that the folks over at Tohokingdom are either too dense or perhaps too preoccupied with bitching about the lack of quality releases in the toy line, maybe somebody here can answer my question. Regarding Godzilla 2014 Spitfire ver, I was under the impression that the figure would be distributed by Bluefin. Should it not be available for purchase directly from Amazon now? I don't see it anywhere on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca except from third party sellers for stupid silly prices.

I want my free shipping or has Bluefin dropped the ball once again with this release like they did with Heavy Arms Kiryu?

Diamond has been distributing them, so they are available to preorder through local comic shops. This is usually slower than online retailers, but i don't have to pay shipping, and my local shop gives me a 10% discount. you do need to preorder months in advance though.

Barnes and Noble I think went to the point of putting Heavy Arms Kiryu on clearance in some places. Too soon for that to happen to Spitfire G, but getting to pick it up in-person and potentially with B&N coupons might work for you.
