It's fun to see news sites mix these first smidgens of Godzilla 2 news with news of the new Japanese Godzilla for a kind of International state of Godzilla update.

You know what I'd like to see? Mothra's larval form portrayed as big and powerful instead of small and weak; an enormous caterpillar capable of tussling with Godzilla in a fight halfway through the film.

^They've made the larva too cute. In the early films you were supposed to dig the contrast between ugly larva and beautiful adult.

- and in the original film the larva is like this unstoppable battering ram that just smashed through everything. Some of my favorite work by Tsuburaya.

^Well, yes: that's how it plays out in Mothra vs. Godzilla and it works beautifully and it's a perfect movie, but Toho has rehashed that quite a few times now and I'm all for a slightly different dynamic in the fight, and the Mothra larva was depicted as being an unstoppable juggernaut in the original Mothra film, so there's precedent from the beginning.

The new dynamic could be that Mothra looses to Godzilla in a more traditional, grapple-friendly, monstrous form only to defeat Godzilla in an elegant, delicate-looking form.

And with that, I begin saving for the Oculus Rift.

Yeah I've stated San Onofre Nuclear plant is a prime spot for Godzilla to nuke up, especially since it's being shut down. You have a place where LA and San Diego are just north and south even if it's a stopover point. There is Camp Pendleton next to it for a quick military response as well.

I think given his long slumber and exhaustive battle, the batteries need to be recharged so we can see him at full power not winded and exhausted. That could be a small plot point, the Mutos had a fresh dose of the nuke juice but Godzilla had none and still won. How frightening would he be with a can of Red Bull Nuke.
You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!

I always said if they want to give him some more ambiguous hero points he should chill out in San Fran bay and absorb the nuclear radiation from the nuke detonation. He's just feeding but he's inadvertently saving people from fallout and radioactive contamination in food and water.

It's become a joke at my work, when we find poorly written articles like this, we share them, which is pretty much on a daily basis if you read any articles that Yahoo "authors" write, or link to. I am almost convinced they don't have any proofreading, or QC system.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.
