It should just snap together, but if you are having trouble, have you tried heating the loose piece up?

Well, it might be a while, but at least these seems to be some hope:

Google Translator says, "Godzilla series of "SHMonsterArts" is, I intend to continue in the prototype of Mr. Sakai in the future. It was Sakai, who cited "Showa version King Ghidorah" to the monster you want to make in the next series, "because there are things that are preparing actually now, please not expect" situ alluding with the presence of new a it has concluded. Monster fan Notice the movement of the future "SHMonsterArts"."

Take the poor translation as you will, but it means they are currently working on a prototype for the Showa version.

And a follow up.

Translation

As a personal hope, primary Godzilla I want to make. But I like also 1984 edition Godzilla, I want or to have a bullet train (laughs). If enemy monster, still Showa version King Ghidorah. Showa edition of radon and Mothra also personally want to. Since there is a monster that has not been still release, we want to continue to make all means. Basic will stick to Godzilla, but I would like to various challenge the enemy monster. In fact, the prototype of the new shape completely work also has just delivered. Please expect in the future.

Does primary Godzilla mean Godzilla 1954? Either way everything in that paragraph seems awesome to me.

Well, this ****ing sucks:

http://www.tohokingdom.com/interviews/b ... -2015.html

WTF do they mean, "less articulated figures?"

That defies the whole point of the line being called MonsterArts.

Lol. My first reaction was WTF.. my second was "well thats kind of what i have been asking for.."

So i wonder what scale they will be targeting. It puts them in competition with X-Plus (but to be fair, their price point has put them there already) so they'll need something to differentiate them (unless Bandai strong arms X-Plus out, ughhh)

very little to no articulation on X-Plus. Megalon can move his arms a bit, but Megarogoji is pretty much a solid piece with 0 movement

IMO, MonsterArts Zero would be suitable as a secondary and cheaper alternative to the articulated series. This is ridiculous to charge step-down figures for a premium.

But all in all if the figures are around $30 to $40 I'd bite but not for $120 for 5 inch figs.

The impression I was getting at Otakon is that due to the tastes of older fans like the ones around here, MonsterArts Zero would be the means with which Showa designs would get their time to shine. There was no word on scale but I would expect something around SHMA size, not huge like X-Plus. It could be promising for the guys who never wanted articulation in the first place but it will be a shame to me to have these designs having to be relegated to statues. Because we can't have enough unarticulated statues of Showa kaiju!

I would love to see ZeroArts, especially with classic designs. However, that would completely defeat the point of this line, right? The 60's and 70's suits were so much more flexible than anything else MonsterArts has tackled (which has been, of course, mostly barely-mobile Heisei designs), and were more anthropomorphic and expressive - therefore, they're the incarnations that would benefit most from super articulation.

Tamashii's decision-making has been pretty damn odd lately.

I for one welcome the less articulation that'll probably mean less QC issues in the long run. Look at the first release figures (G94-SpaceG) they had less articulation than most SHMAs now and there's hardly any issues with those figures but newer stuff every figure I've botten had MAJOR QC issues so I've had to send it back for a replacement.

I don't mind Zeros as long as we still get articulated figures a couple times a year.
My wallet doesn't mind either. XD
