I think the bigger problem with the Heisei and Millennium series, more than rushed production times, is honestly just burnout. I mean, people didn't experience that in the 60s because the yearly release of a new Godzilla movie was the one time a year they got to watch ANY Godzilla movie.

Hitting us year after year after year from 1999 through 2004 is too much.

So, yeah, if they still wanna pump out SOME kaiju movie every year, that's fine with me, but just not Godzilla 6 times in 6 years.

I'm not exactly saying it's fake or fan art, but I'm wondering what the story is behind this thing. Why wasn't it more widely seen if it was being tweeted back when it was announced.

I don't want to be that guy who thinks he knew it was fake but I would be happier to know it was fan made. It lacks the quality of the foot that we got earlier this year...

Yeah, I will admit to being the slightest underwhelmed with the visual, but excited nonetheless at the prospect of the hype train beginning. Can't wait for the actual promotion.

EDIT: It's only now that I notice that the title on the poster is completely lifted/shopped from G2K.

Kinda glad that this isn't legit because it just looks like a mix between the G'14 and the video game posters (framing to just show Godzilla's spines and the filter effects used for the game's promotional images).

I want to see a hark back to the old movie posters of the Showa movies. So much going on but it still looked artistic.
