Not your typical toy for this thread but I wasn't sure a new thread elsewhere would be appropriate. But my girlfriend and our roommates have a shared Amazon account so we could have Amazon Prime and with we got a half off discount on .

It's a shame you can't reprogram the awake word to "Computer" and change it's voice to Majel Barrett's, but damn if it doesn't feel like the first step to becoming that.

Sadly it arrived when I had to jet off to work so I was only able to ask a few question to her but I did ask if she knew HAL. She said they haven't spoke since the incident.

It seriously makes me feel like I'm living in the future.

Thank you klen7 and Baltan II for the info on candy toys, that really helps narrow it down for me. I couldn't find the FW Kamacuras and Kumonga, though - which set are they in?

They're in the Final Wars set with Keizer Ghidorah. Literally easy to miss those two!

This thing finally showed up this morning. Now that I am back from work, decided to take a few photo of it. I really like it though it will always remind me that I missed out on the original G2k. This will have to do since I don't plan on getting the Gk2 with the price he is going for. With this I can finally say that I'm done with SHMonsterArts for this year. Can't wait to see what they will announced next year......or the end of this year......if any new figure show up.

Hobby Search got some new Chogokin Gamera, Gigan and Kiryu figures in stock, so I was able to get a Gamera the Brave shipped for $45.

So I bit the bullet and bought the Roveltech T-rex from Amazon for under $40. Should be here next month. Probably a bit after G-fest actually.

I really pine for some good articulated dino figures. If only Tamashii Nations had a line of them. I was hoping some one would be trying to cash in on Jurassic World. But I don't think many people thought it wouldn't as big of a hit.

Toho Large Monsters Series: Godzilla 1989 & Biollante Light Up Ver. Set. Biollante is absolutely stunning!

My Chikyu Boueigun GMK Godzilla arrived. Some paint slop but overall a better release than i was expecting... i honestly only preordered this figure because it went up the same time as Baragon and i started hoping they would do Ghidorah and Mothra next to finish out the roster... then buyers remorse set in...after the cancellation period ended. I am glad i didn't cancel it though.

Got the Godzilla and Mothra a week ago, and pulled the trigger on Baragon soon after and he arrived today, all MIB. Bought a few more on eBay today: King Ghidorah 1964 (from the slightly bigger Hyper series, I'm thinking it'll scale well with what I have) and Mechagodzilla 1974 (High Grade 9). Was going to get the High Grade Megalon as well, but someone scooped up the only MIB one a few days ago, so I'll wait for another to show up.

These are addicting because they're so cheap and so cool. I'm limiting myself to twelve, though.

Anyway, half of the Ant-Man wave came in today from Amazon. The other three arrive on Monday for some reason. Bulldozer is coming by UPS while Giant Man and Tiger Shark are arriving from Fed Ex. WTF Amazon?



All three have excellent paint apps, but Ant-Man's legs are quite loose (and I fear they will be really loose in a few years) and the cape on Reaper was deformed from his packaging, so I will need to fix it. Wasp is perfect though. The parts of Ultron I got seem great. However, neither Ant-Man nor Wasp can really stand up on their own.

So the Revoltech T-Rex showed up today. Awesome.

But I got to ask, is there any way to get the T-Rex to stand up on it's own? And what is the little yellow box thing that came with it?

That orange box with the holes on top is simply an old Revoltech tradition for providing dubious parts storage. I never owned it, so I have no idea what parts that come with the T-Rex could even fit there, but it wouldn't surprise me if nothing does.
