To take a wild guess, I'd say maybe Josh Trank drew inspiration from Cronenberg in the visuals but took a Spielberg approach to characterization.

So I heard we'll be seeing Sue fly more in this. Awesome. She's flown before in the comics I think with her force fields.

So I will assume the body horror of Cronenberg and the family adventure of Amblin...which means this movie could be the next Gremlins!!!!! Color me excited!

If they do get enough for a sequel i wonder what they'll do. Hopefully Galactus or Annihlus.

I imagine this is going to be one of those movies that makes you interested in a sequel but never gets one.

You know, I was so happy not seeing a trailer on this piece of **** and now they had to go and give me one before Avengers 2. This movie looks even worse than I thought it was going to be. WHy, just why? Give the rights to the characters back to Marvel Fox because clearly you have no idea how to make a FF movie.

I didn't see a trailer for this before AoU, but the second one, the more full-length trailer instead of the teaser, was actually a bit BETTER than I'd thought the movie would look. Every piece of behind-the-scenes news on this made me think this would be an AWFUL movie, but every thing I've seen of the actual movie makes it look like it could maybe be a WWZ thing...that doesn't necessarily make sense in terms of its basis for existence, but is a pretty decent movie in its own right.

I'm more into this than seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Grimdark.
I don't like the Thing or what little I've seen of Doom...but they always screw up Doom.

Do we really think that explanation is going to come into play for real in the movie?

Is it dumb that I think the weird explanation for Mr. Fantastic is kind of neat? I mean, ordinarily I'd be bothered, but this thing is already so weird, whynot?
