^ Yeh, those episodes got me actually looking forward to Luke Cage and Iron Fist, which previously i was ambivalent about.

I think you're probably right..and the end credits for that episode confirmed that that guy was the guy you thought it was.

I had watched two episodes before I got too tired and went to bed on Friday afternoon, (midnight work schedule right now) and didn't get back until today. I only meant to watch maybe two or three today but I JUST COULDN'T STOP WATCHING IT! This was a fantastic series with great acting (Vincent D'Onofrio deserves an Emmy for his work on this), a fantastic gritty story, and interesting characters. I also liked the Luke Cage tie-in and the possible Iron Fist tie-in they threw in to the story. I can't wait for AKA:Jessica Jones later this year!

Netflix just confirmed a season 2 for 2016 with a different show runner. Drew Goddard will stay on in a producer role.

Incredibly excited! Here's hoping for Bullseye and some classic rogues.
Jester at least. I think Jester is actually a decent villain when written properly and an MCU'd version might be interesting to see.

I've been re-watching this, and I kind of hope Karen gets less people killed next season.
Jeez.

I'll be interested to see which elements of her back story they opt to give her if they decide to flesh it out more, and it seems implied that they will.

I finally watched this show. I wish they had gone a touch further with Kingpin in terms of making him a bit more comic booky (ie, calling him Kingpin, giving him super-strength) but it was pretty darn good. I wish we could get an MCU film to have this same style and tone, even though I know it'll never happen.
Gills.

Plus he talks about how he broke into the industry, the best advice he ever received as a screenwriter, and working with Ridley Scott.

I'm really hoping that all Marvel properties have at least a scene in Infinity War - all the Netflix properties, the Agents of SHIELD, whoever they can dig up - battling Thanos' minions. The Avengers can't be everywhere at once, you know.
I'm not a hero. I'm not a savior. Forget what you know.

I'm just a man whose circumstances went beyond his control.

Season 2 is already better than the first. We are now 8 episodes in and I love this version of Punisher and Elektra. So much better than what the movies ever tried to do and much closer to their comic versions. My favorite line of the show so far is, "She wouldn't buy a pack of gum unless it could further her political career." I am curious to know if this so called "The Chased" is meant to be the clan Iron Fist is from. Also, the fight scene down the stairwell in episode 3 was shot so damn beautifully.

It's "The Chaste" which includes Stick, Stone, etc. It was in Miller's run. I think Danny Rand is from Kun Lun which is different.

It's possible that he was in some continuity. DD even ran The Hand at one point so it wouldn't surprise me
