If they actually made trading cards for the movie that looked like that I'd totally buy them.

Recent rumors have the director requesting the release date be moved forward to avoid any additional spoilers leaking.

Abrams tries TOO HARD to keep stuff under wraps. To the point that it's actually kind of annoying and stupid. Like when he outright lied to everyone about Kahn in Star Trek into Darkness. It's to the point where I just ignore anything JJ Abrams himself says about a movie he's working on and pay more attention to the leaks and stuff because he's entirely untrustable.

Well at least he wants people to be surprised when they see the movie.

I'd like to avoid the spoilers as much as possible. Images are one thing (and usually enough to ruin key moments for me) but I don't want a breakdown of the characters or anything.

Though the Force Awakens director will be skipping the next instalment in the new trilogy (that'll be taken over by Rian Johnson), word is he's at the top of LucasFilm's list of potential Episode IX directors and could well return to helm the final film.

The name Spielberg inspires actual dread in me these days. It's been SO LONG since he made a good movie, it's kinda sad.

I'm of mixed minds on Star Wars 10, 11, 12, 20, 53, etc...
On the one hand, there's a part of me that would think it'd be pretty cool if they could structure this upcoming trilogy as a pass-off to a next generation for episodes 10, 11, 12. On the other hand, all these spinoffs and prequels and in-between-quels are gonna make it so that whenever episode 9 is finally done, I'm just gonna be done with Star Wars

Spielberg already turned down The Force Awakens I believe, so he'd be unlikely to want to do Episode IX. I can't say whether or not I'd like Abrams to come back before I've seen his movie.

The crashed ships. Luke's speech. Those trooper suits. BB-8. That ending. "We're home." Christmas this year will be awesome.

Although the melted Vader mask reminds me of Jason Voorhees.

Edit:

And BB-8 isn't all CGI....

Mind=blown.
