Strong finish to the second half of the second half of the season (why do they even consider breaks like that the same season?).. but yeh, two of the worst episodes of the series kicked off the second half.

A solid opener for the new season. I like that they did the flashbacks in b&w...and after watching FTWD, the much higher production values for the settings and effects work was greatly appreciated.

I think I'm about done with this show...too much of a been there, done that feel to me. I mean, I get it, fellow humans are more dangerous than the zombies. In fact, I got it back when the Governor was involved. And something else that's been bugging me about this that came into focus while watching the last episode of "Fear the Walking Dead", you've got a large horde of zombies confined in an area, why not just set them on fire???? Oh well, it was fun for a while, I guess there's only so much you can do with zombies...

Watched to first episode after the mid season break of last season.

That whole hospital security force theme was the dumbest most wasted thing so far. It could have been cool if it was explained and expanded a bit more but by the end, and how it ends, is the stupidest asinine ending ever. I was less pissed about a character death and more about the fact that I felt like wasted so many episodes on this crap.

those two and the episode or two that follows were my least favorite by far.. too much of wtf writing and overall bleakness/brooding... also the biggest deus ex machina the show has pulled by a long shot. blargh

Well after two good episodes, blargh.

The RV related scenes at the end of the episode were all pretty solid in an otherwise frustrating episode... and next week looks like a flashback episode for Morgan. This will probably be fine, but i'm imagining its going to be like the Governor flashback episode, which may have been served better by running along the rest of the season rather than all at once.
